Mission & Purpose
Free Bikes for Kids is a non-profit organization geared toward helping all kids ride into a happier, healthier childhood by providing bikes to those most in need in RCT

“We know that keeping kids active increases their chances of staying healthy, even doing well in school and in life. This year is especially challenging financially for many families, This November we will take your unwanted bikes, and our team of highly skilled mechanics with the help volunteers will clean, service and refurbish to get them good as new! Our aim is to offer these to kids in RCT who may not be as fortunate as others over the Christmas period,
HELP GREASE THE WHEELS
You can get involved by donating a bike or contributing financially. And we’re always looking for volunteers. Donate a bike, time, or money and help kids ‘go places.’

Donate a Bike
In the fall of November 2020, we’ll take your dusty donations of kid’s and small adult bikes at our Bike Shop location, Barry Sidings country park. We d be great full for all sizes all we ask is that they are complete. Even better if they are in good working order! Find out more By clicking below.

Donate your Time
Change the life of a child with a bike! No bike mechanic skills are necessary. If you don’t have any experience, you can just clean bikes to prepare them for the rest of the refurbishment process. Or, if you know how to change a flat, we will have lots of bikes that need new tires and tubes, a saddle, grips or new pedals and you can focus on those areas. Maybe you’re a full-blown bike “wrench” – then you can work on anything that needs fixing on the bike

OUR STORY
Award winning Bike Shop based in the beatifull barry sidings country park. We service repair and sell bikes and accesories from some of the best brands!
We are very much at the heart of the local cycling community, we organise events, ride out and within the country park we have some great riding on offer from mini pump tracks to high level steep tech trails that attract some of the the UK best riders!
